People considered experts in QA/QC and management of chemical oceanographic data have been invited to participate in this workshop.
Focusing on dissolved inorganic macronutrients (e.g., phosphate, nitrate, nitrite, nitrate+nitrite, silicate) and dissolved oxygen measured on water collected using discrete water bottle samples, this workshop has a narrow collaborative overall focus. It seeks to recommend a minimum set of quality control (QC) criteria and procedures to, when necessary (or possible), standardise the reporting, management and exchange of these oceanographic nutrient and O2 data.
