Description

These coral larvae respiration data are a compilation of published results describing the respiration rates of planula larvae of tropical corals and were extracted from literature for comparative purposes with the dataset coral_larvae_respiration.  These datasets are part of a study that describes the effects of temperature on the respiration of brooded larvae of scleractinian corals and evaluates the implications of these effects relative to seawater temperature when peak larval release occurs, and are published in Edmunds et al. (2011). J. Exp. Biol. 214, 2783-2790 (see p 2788, Table 1 and p 2789, Fig 3).
