Dataset acquisition description

A vertical plankton tow was conducted by clipping the cod end of the net to a weighted line, lowering the net to 200 meters, and then returning the apparatus to the surface. The plankton tow was then sorted by hand using microscopes and pipettes to isolate any larval forms present.
