A preliminary CoFeMUG cruise report is available as a PDF file that was converted from the MS Word document submitted to the US State Department. It includes a brief cruise plan and estimates that data from the cruise will be available in June 2009. The investigators expect to produce the following data types:

  • Trace metal concentrations in seawater (e.g. cobalt total, cobalt speciation, and dissolved iron)
  • Water column hydrographic (e.g. temperature, conductivity, depth, oxygen, fluorescence)
  • Water column nutrient data (e.g. nitrate, phosphate, silicic acid)
