Description

Thermal niche, as calculated from the Thermal Performance Curve (TPC), across three light levels for seven strains of a marine diatom Chaetoceros sp. isolated from Narragansett Bay March 2018.

Methods & Sampling

These calculations were generated using previously calculated growth rates across six to seven temperatures. The calculations were done in R and used the calculations for thermal niche used in Thomas et al. 2012.

Data Processing Description

BCO-DMO Processing Notes:
- added conventional header with dataset name, PI name, version date
- modified parameter names to conform with BCO-DMO naming conventions (replaced spaces with underscores)
- reduced temperature precision from 8 to 1 decimal place
