Abstract

Depth profile data including temperature, salinity, oxygen chlorophyll, and beam attenuation from Bermuda Atlantic Time-Series Validation cruise 46 (BVAL46) in the Sargasso Sea from Sept-Oct. 2011

Sampling and analytical procedures:

Temperature, salinity, oxygen concentration, and PAR were measured using a Sea-Bird SBE-911+ CTD platform equipped on the rosette deployment system.

Chlorophyll a was measured using a WetLabs FLNTU combination fluorometer and turbidity sensor equipped on the CTD rosette.

Salinity and oxygen water samples were collected via a Niskin bottle rosette system and analyzed according to protocols outlined in Knap et al. 1993
