Initial Methane Concentration Alteration Experiment Data of the Deep Santa Barbara Basin Water Column from October 2019 (BASIN project)
Abstract:
A methane concentration alteration experiment was performed to test the influence of methane concentration on methane oxidation rate. Together with the oxygen concentration alteration experiment, the purpose of this experiment was to test the assumption that methane oxidation in the Santa Barbara Basin deep water column follows first order kinetics.
