Abstract:
To evaluate the shipboard capabilities of programmable Flow Injection relative to established methods, we collected unfiltered samples from a full depth vertical profile at the Hawaii Ocean Time Series in September 2022 (HOT-339). One set was analyzed onboard in triplicate using pFI for phosphate while the other was shipped on dry ice and analyzed at the Scripps Institution of Oceanography (SIO) using an AA3 autoanalyzer. This dataset contains the processed vertical profiles from each method.
