Abstract

This dataset contains estimates of mixed layer depths (MLD) and mean mixed-layer values of temperature, salinity, sigma-t density, % transmission, oxygen concentration, % oxygen saturation, and fluorometric chlorophyll a from CTD downcast profiles for cruise RR2201 on R/V Roger Revelle (BLOOFINZ-IO, January-March 2022) in the Argo Basin region off NW Australia.

Mixed Layer Depths (MLD) were calculated from CTD downcast profiles at 1-meter resolution based on sigma-t difference of 0.01 kilogram per cubic meter (kg m-3) relative to mean sigma-t of upper 5 meters. Mean values from CTD sensors were averaged for the determined MLD.
